Okay, before anybody reads this, I'm just setting the record straight.
I know this may sound like a love poem and in a way it is, but the love I desire to express, is towards God, not to a human.
In my understanding, God desires to have a relationship with His creation, communication, yet even for those who know Him and follow him such as myself, it may be difficult at times.
So this is expressing my desire to want to be with God, to please Him through my life and actions, but knowing that my humanity and day-to-day distractions sometimes keep me from cultivating my friendship with Him. Yet my desire is to be a faithful friend to him the same way He is to me.
I know God loves me, and I want to be able to say that I love Him too, but with sincerity, you know what I mean? It's like, someone telling you they care about you and you do everything for them, but despite this it's like they never realize what you do for them and they hardly acknowledge you, only when they need you.
So in the end you might think that their friendship isn't real.
I don't want to be that kind of friend to God. And it is what I am trying to express to him in this poem.

I want my heart to beat for you.
I want to feel that I can’t live without
your presence.
To feel like I’m dying when I can’t find
you.
So much that the cry of my heart reaches
your ears.
And that the world around me ceases to
exist when you are finally near.
Make me love you, make my heart beat for
you.
That
you may be the center of my thoughts always.
Let your name be always on my lips.
Let me say, ‘I love you.’
And let it be true.

Antes que esto sea leido, solo quiero aclarar las cosas. Aunque esto suena como un poema de una persona enamorada, no lo es. Al menos, no de la forma que tal vez lo estan pensando. Este pensamiento es en el contexto del amor que deseo tener en referencia de mi relacion personal con Dios. No es dedicado a un ser humano. Lo siento si les haiga quitado el emocion. ☺

Cese de existir

Se el centro de
mis pensamientos.
